1. There are 12 crayons in a box. How many crayons are there in 7 boxes?

2. The product of two numbers is 350. If one number is 14, what is the other number?

3. A shopkeeper sells 825 balls in a day. How many balls can he sell in the month of June?

4. If the cost of 54 TV sets is Rs 702000.Find the cost of one TV set.

5. Najma deposited Rs 150 every day in a bank. What will be her earning in a week? What will be her earning in a month?

6. Rs 2408 are distributed equally among 56 people. How much money will each person get?

7. A bus can seat 108 passengers. What would be the total capacity of 80 such buses?

8. In a library, 15210 books are arranged in different shelves. If there are 65 books in a shelf, how many shelves are there?

9. A table fan costs Rs 1950, Find the cost of 2 dozen table fans?

10. 215 potatoes are packed in a box. How many boxes are required to pack 5375 potatoes?

ANSWERS

1. Number of crayons in a box = 12

Number of crayons in 7 boxes = 12 x 7 = 84

2. Given product of two numbers = 350
One number = 14
Other number = 350 / 14 = 25

3. The number of balls sold in one day = 825
The number of balls sold in the month of June = 825 x 30 = 24750

4. Cost of 54 TV sets = 702000
Cost of one TV set = 702000 / 54 = 13000

5. Amount deposited in one day = Rs 150
Amount deposited in one week = 150 x 7 = Rs 1050
Amount deposited in one month = 150 x 30 =Rs 4500

6. Amount deposited among 56 people = Rs 2408
Amount each person will get = 2408 / 56 =Rs 43

7. The number of passengers that can seat in one bus = 108
Total capacity of 80 such buses = 108 x 80 = 8640

8. Number of books in one shelf = 65
Total number of books in the Library = 15210
Number of shelves in the Library = 15210 / 65 = 234

9. Cost of one table fan = Rs 1950
Cost of 2 dozen table fans = 1950 x 24 =Rs 46800

10. Number of potatoes in one box = 215
Total number of potatoes = 5375
Number of boxes required = 5375 / 215 = 25
