**CBSE CLASS 7 MATHEMATICS WORKSHEETS/Part 2/YEARLY EXAMINATION**

**Fill in the blanks:**

1. The value of the expression 2x + y, when x = 1, y = -1 is ————–

2. The mode of the data 23, 24, 23, 43, 23, 25, 43 is ——————–

3. 20% of 30 students like to play tennis. The number of students who likes to play tennis is ——————

**Answer the following:**

8. There are 25 radios, 16 of them are out of order. What per cent of radios are out of order?

9. 75% of what number is 15?

10. If angles of a triangle are in the ratio 1:2:3. Find the value of each angle?

11. You have 2400 rupees in your account and the interest rate is 5%. After how many years would you earn 240 rupees as interest?

12. Write the standard form of -12/18?

13. Add 3x + 7y and 2x -7y

14. If x = 3, find the value of x (2x – 9)?

15. Cost of a watch is 2500 rupees. It was sold with a profit of 8%. Find the selling price?

**ANSWERS:**

1. 1

2. 23

3. 6

4. 1/23

5. 10:1

6. 10

7. 10,000

8. Percentage of radios that are out of order = (16/25) x 100 = 16 x 4 = 64%

9. Let the number be x.

75% of x = 15

x = (15 x 100)/75 = 20

10. Sum of the parts = 1 + 2 + 3= 6

Sum of 3 angles = 180 degree

Each angle measures are (1/6) x 180 = 30 degree

(2/6) x 180 = 60 degree

(3/6) x 180 = 90 degree

11. Given P = 2400, R = 5%, I = 240, T =?

We know that I = PRT/100

240 = 2400 x 5 x T/100

T = 240/24 x 5 = 2 years

12. -12/18 = -2/3 (divide both numerator and denominator by 6)

13. 3x + 7y + 2x – 7y = 5x

14. x (2x – 9) = 3( 2 x 3 – 9) = 3( 6 – 9) = 3 x -3 = -9

15. Profit = 8% of 2500 = 200

SP = CP + Profit = 2500 + 200 = 2700
