8. Percentage of radios that are out of order = (16/25) x 100 = 16 x 4 = 64%

9. Let the number be x.

75% of x = 15

x = (15 x 100)/75 = 20

10. Sum of the parts = 1 + 2 + 3= 6

Sum of 3 angles = 180 degree

Each angle measures are (1/6) x 180 = 30 degree

(2/6) x 180 = 60 degree

(3/6) x 180 = 90 degree

11. Given P = 2400, R = 5%, I = 240, T =?

We know that I = PRT/100

240 = 2400 x 5 x T/100

T = 240/24 x 5 = 2 years

12. -12/18 = -2/3 (divide both numerator and denominator by 6)

13. 3x + 7y + 2x – 7y = 5x

14. x (2x – 9) = 3( 2 x 3 – 9) = 3( 6 – 9) = 3 x -3 = -9

15. Profit = 8% of 2500 = 200

SP = CP + Profit = 2500 + 200 = 2700
