9. Each side of a regular polygon is 1.6 cm in length. The perimeter of the polygon is 6.4 cm. How many sides does the polygon have?

2. a) We know that 1 rupees = 100 paise
5 paise = 5/100 = 0.05 rupees
b) 250/100 = 2.50 rupees

3. a) We know that I kg = 1000g
300 g = 300/1000 = 0.3 kg
b) 5420/1000 = 5.420 kg

4. a) 3 x 10 + 6 x 1 + 8 x 1/10 + 5 x 1/100.
b) 3 x 1 + 8 x 1/10 + 6 x 1/100

5. a) Ones

6. 52.45 – 34 = 18.45 km

7. Weight of apples bought by Anu = 2.300 kg
Weight of Oranges = 4.250 kg
Total weight of fruits = 2.300 + 4.250 = 6.550 kg
Weight of apples bought by Manu = 3.650 kg
Weight of mangoes = 3.150 kg
Total weight of fruits = 3.650 + 3.150 = 6.800 kg.
Manu bought more fruits.

8. The side of an equilateral triangle = 2.5 cm

All the sides of an equilateral triangle are equal.
Perimeter = 3 x 2.5 = 7.5 cm

9. The perimeter of a regular polygon is the sum of the lengths of all its equal sides = 6.4 cm

Length of each side = 1.6 cm
Number of sides = 6.4/1.6 = 4
The polygon has 4 sides.

10. a) 2.5 x 10 = 25
b) 2.5 x 100 = 250
