1. Write the expanded form of 5, 46,432.

2. Write in Roman Numerals:

3. Estimate the product using general rule: 658 x 153

4. Insert commas suitably and write the number name of the following number according to Indian and International system of numeration.

5. Find the difference between the greatest and the least four digit numbers that can be written using the digits 6, 0, 9, 2 each only once.

6. Make the greatest and the smallest 4 digit number using different digits and with the digit 5 always in the tens place.

7. Find the product of greatest number of 2 digits and the smallest number of 3 digits.

8. Arrange the following numbers in ascending order:
675, 987, 879, 542, 765

9. Use the given digits without repetition and make the greatest and smallest four digit numbers: 7,9,4,0

10. Make the greatest and the smallest four digit numbers by using any one digit twice: 9, 0, 6

1. 546432 = 5 x 100000 + 4 x 10000 + 6 x 1000 + 4 x 100 + 3 x 10 + 2 x1

Estimated product = 700 x 200 = 140000

4. Indian System:
68, 45,134 – Sixty eight lakh forty five thousand one hundred thirty four.
International System:
6,845,134 – Six million eight hundred forty five thousand one hundred thirty four.

5. Greatest number = 9620
Smallest number = 2069
Difference = 9620 – 2069 = 7551

6. Greatest number = 9857
Smallest number = 1052

7. Greatest two digit number = 99
Smallest three digit number = 100
Product = 99 x 100 = 9900

8. 542, 675, 765, 879, 987

9. Greatest number = 9740
Smallest number = 4079

10. Greatest number = 9960
Smallest number = 6009
