9. Determine the integer whose product with (-1) is

8. LHS = (-2) x [(-4) + (-3)] = (-2) x (-7) = 14
RHS = [(-2) x (-4)] + [(-2) x (-3)]
= 8 + 6 = 14.
Therefore LHS = RHS, so verified.
