- Factor pairs are 1 x 50, 2 x 25, and 5 x 10.
So the factors are 1, 2, 5, 10, 25, and 50. - Multiples of 100 are 100, 200, 300, 400, 500…..
- a) 74 = 71 + 3
b) 36 = 23 + 13 - Greatest 4 digit number is 9999.
Its prime factors are 3 x 3 x 11 x 101. - Sum of the digits at odd places from right = 9 + 8 + 6 = 23
Sum of the digits at even places from right = 0 + 1 = 1
Difference = 23 – 1 = 22, which is divisible by 11.
Therefore, 61809 is divisible by 11.
