- Smallest number = 2378
Greatest number = 8732 - Place value of 3 in 3976 is 3000
Place value of 6 in 3976 is 6
Sum = 3000 + 6 = 3006 - The cost of 8 kg rice = 256 rupees
Cost of 1 kg rice = 256/8 = 32 rupees
Cost of 3 kg rice = 32 x 3 = 96 rupees - We know that 4 x 7 = 28
So each child will get 4 chocolates each and 2 chocolates will remain. - The number of books in a box = 25
The number of boxes = 13
Total number of books = 25 x 13 = 325 books.
