**Answers:**

- Distance travelled using 5 liters of petrol = 50km

Distance travelled using 1 liter of petrol = 50/5 = 10km

Distance travelled using 8 liters of petrol = 10 x 8 = 80km - Cost of 24 cookies = 96 rupees

Cost of 1 cookies = 96/24 = 4 rupees

Cost of 10 cookies = 4 x 10 = 40 rupees - Time required to read 20 pages =2 hours

Time required to read 10 pages = 1 hour

Time required to read 50 pages = 5 hours - Cost of 4 shirts = 1700 rupees

Cost of 1 shirt = 1700/4 = 425 rupees

Cost of 7 shirts = 425 x 7 = 2975 rupees - Distance travelled in 2 hours = 40km

Distance travelled in 1 hour = 40/2 = 20km

Distance travelled in 5 hours = 20 x 5 = 100km - Distance travelled on 15 liters of petrol = 240km

Distance travelled on 1 liter of petrol = 240/15 = 16km

Distance travelled on 20 liter of petrol = 16 x 20 = 320km - Production in 10 hours = 500units

Production in 1 hour = 500/10 = 50 units

Production in 20 hours = 50 x 20 = 1000 units - Cost of 3 dozen cupcakes = 180 rupees

Cost of 1 dozen cupcake = 180/3 = 60 rupees

Cost of 8 dozen cupcakes = 60 x 8 = 480 rupees - Weight of 5 bags of rice = 25kg

Weight of 1 bag of rice = 25/5 = 5kg

Weight of 8 bags of rice = 5 x 8 = 40kg - Time taken to travel 360km = 6 hours

Time taken to travel 1 km = 6/360 = 1/60 hours

Time taken to travel 540km = 1/60 x 540 = 9 hours - Cost of 8 mangoes = 96 rupees

Cost of 1 mango = 96/8 = 12 rupees

Cost of 5 mangoes = 12 x 5 = 60 rupees - Days required for 4 workers = 6 days

Days required for 1 worker = 6/4 = 3/2

Days required for 12 workers = 3/2 x 12 = 18 days - Distance travelled on 12 gallons of petrol = 180 miles

Distance travelled on 1 gallon of petrol = 180/12 = 15 miles

Distance travelled on 15 gallons of petrol = 15 x 15= 225 miles - Cost of 3 notebooks = 96 rupees

Cost of 1 notebook = 96/3 = 32 rupees

Cost of 7 notebooks = 32 x 7 = 224 rupees - Weight of 64 books = 8kg

Weight of 1 book = 8/64 = 1/8 kg

Weight of 120 books = 1/8 x 120 = 15kg
