Answers with Explanations:
- 2310
- 8%
- 10: 1
- 500
- 32
- 31
- 123
- 40
- 25
- 30
Explanations:
- First 5 prime numbers are 2, 3, 5, 7 and 11
Product = 2 x 3 x 5 x 7 x 11 = 2310 - Loss% = (loss/CP) x 100 = (56/700) x 100 = 8%
- 5 kg = 5000g
5 kg: 500 g = 5000: 500 = 50: 5 = 10: 1 - Let the number be x.
10% of x = 50
Therefore, x = 5000/10 = 500 - Product of two numbers = LCM x HCF
One number is 12 and take the other number as y, 12 x y = 96 x 4
y = (96 x 4)/12 = 32 - Average = (25 + 27 + 29 + x) / 4 = 28
(81 + x) = 28 x 4
81 + x = 112
x = 112 – 81 = 31 - Let the 5 consecutive numbers be x, x+1, x+2, x+3 and x+4
Given x + x + 1 + x + 2 + x + 3 + x + 4 = 625
5x + 10 = 625
5x = 625 – 10 = 615
x =615/5 = 123 - Let the number be x
Given ¼ of x = 20
x = 20 x 4 = 80
Now ½ of 80 = 40 - 25
- 3 x 12 – 5 + 6 x 0 – 1 = 36 – 5 + – 1 = 36- 6 = 30
